“Toronto FC announced today that the club has relieved Chris Armas of his duties as Head Coach, effective immediately,” the club said in a statement.
Without providing further information, the Toronto FC said further details will be addressed a press conference with the TFC President Bill Manning and General Manage Ali Curtis.
This comes as the Toronto FC lost last night’s against D.C. United 7-1, a defeat which was called as the worst in history of the club in MLS.
Meanwhile, Michael Bradely of Toronto FC, in his post-match press conference, said ““Yeah, one of my worst days at the club for sure. We’re not in a good way right now and it’s nobody’s fault but ours, the players.”
However, he said “People want to look around and point fingers and say it’s Chris [Armas]’s fault, he’s not done a good enough job. Bullsh*t.”
