Quebec is reporting close to 700 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and two additional deaths due to the virus in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec said Friday that the health authorities identified 745 out of 22,723 samples collected on 21 November.
The ministry reported a slight decrease in hospitalizations in the past 24 hours.
203 hospitalizations, a decrease of 1 compared to the previous day, the ministry said, adding that 16 people were admitted and 17 others were discharged.
46 people are being treated for COVID-19 in Intensive Care Unit, a number that remained stable compared to the previous day.
Four people were admitted to Intensive Care Unit in the past 24 hours and four others were discharged.
The ministry of health and social services of Quebec also added that 6,008 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered, including 5,582 doses in the last 24 hours and 426 doses before November 22, for a total of 13,478,504 doses administered in Québec.
