Quebec is reporting close to 700 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and two additional deaths due to the virus in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec said Monday that the health authorities identified 692 out of 21,070 samples collected on 20 November.
The ministry reported a slight increase in hospitalizations in the past 24 hours.
204 hospitalizations, an increase of 5 compared to the previous day, the ministry said, adding that 13 people were admitted and 8 others were discharged.
46 people are being treated for COVID-19 in Intensive Care Unit, an increase of a 5 as compared to the previous day.
Eight people were admitted to Intensive Care Unit in the past 24 hours and three others were discharged.
The ministry of health and social services of Quebec also added that 3,770 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered, including 3,582 doses in the last 24 hours and 188 doses before November 21, for a total of 13,472,496 doses administered in Québec.
