Quebec is reporting 5,547 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) over a 24 hour period.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec said 68 additional deaths were also reported due to the virus in the last 24 hours.
Currently, 3,295 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19 in Quebec. There was a decrease of 56 in overall hospitalizations.
A total of 3,020 people are being treated in non-ICU wards for COVID-19, a decrease of 66 as compared to the previous day.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Social Services, said there was a slight increase in Intensive Care Unit admissions in the past 24 hours.
According to the ministry, a total of 275 people are currently receiving treatment in Intensive Care Unit for COVID-19, an increase of 10 as compared to Friday.
The Quebec Health on Friday reported 5,995 new cases of COVID-19 and 59 additional deaths over a 24 hour period.
