Ontario is reporting over 600 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-) over a 24-hour period.
Christine Elliott, the Minster Health of Ontario, said 627 new cases were identified in Ontario in the past 24 hours.
Elliott further added that 341 cases are in individuals who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 286 are in fully vaccinated individuals.
She also added that 136 people are hospitalized with COVID-19, and 133 people are in ICU due to COVID-19.
However, she said all hospitals do not report on weekends.
The Intario Health on Sunday reported 741 COVID-19 cases and three additional deaths over a 24-hour period.
