Ontario on Sunday reported that the province identified 423 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours.
According to the latest data released by Ontario Health, six additional deaths were also reported during the same period.
The Ontario Health on Saturday reported 9 additional deaths due to COVID-19 while 18 deaths were reported on Friday.
Meanwhile, Christine Elliott, the Health Minister of Ontario, said 109 of the new cases were identified in Toronto, 57 in York Region, 51 in Peel Region, 42 in Hamilton, and 29 in Windsor-Essex.
Elliott further added that as of 8:00 p.m. yesterday, 19,872,210 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, including 46,970 doses administered yesterday.
