Reality television start Kim Kardashian West funded a flight to evacuated 130 Afghans, including members of Afghanistan’s women’s youth development soccer, and their family members to United Kingdom.

The chartered flight carrying junior Afghan women soccer players and their family members left Pakistan and arrived in UK early on Thursday.

A UK soccer club and a New York rabbi also helped with the evacuation of junior women soccer players.

The Afghans will spend 10 days in coronavirus quarantine before starting new lives in Britain, CBS News reported.

A group of 135 female footballers and their families arrived in Lahore city of Pakistan earlier last month after leaving Afghanistan with the support of ROKiT Foundation.

Thousands of Afghans were evacuated from Afghanistan following the takeover of the country by Taliban in mid-August.

The United States, Canada, Britain, and several other European countries have vowed to evacuate the vulnerable Afghans who want to leave Afghanistan.
