The Toronto Police identified the victim of a fatal shooting which took place earlier today in 2845 Jane Street.
“On Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 12:36 a.m., police responded to a call at 2845 Jane Street,” the Toronto Police said in a statement.
The statement further added that the officers arrived on scene and located a man who had been shot.
Life-saving measures were commenced but the the man was pronounced deceased at the scene, the Toronto Police said, adding that the victim has been identified as Kamal Daley, 28, of Toronto.
Investigators are appealing to anyone that witnessed the shooting, or were in the area at the time and have security video or dash cam footage to contact them.
