Dog bites two people in Southwest: Calgary Police

A dog has bitten two people in Southwestern Quadrant of Calgary city, the Calgary Police said.

According to a statement released by Calgary Police, the incident took place near the 17th Avenue and 37th Street in Southwest of the city.

The statement further added that the dog bit a child and an adult and efforts are underway to locate it.

“A white pit bull is loose near 17 Ave and 37 St SW. It has bitten two people and should be considered dangerous. We are in the area with City of Calgary Animal Services trying to locate it,” the Calgary Police said in a Twitter post.

The Calgary Police also urged the local residents to keep distance and call 403-266-123 if they see the dog.
