COVID-19: Quebec reports 5,946 new cases and 21 additional deaths

The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec on Sunday announced that the health authorities have identified 5,946 new cases of COVID-19.

The ministry also added that 21 additional deaths were also reported due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

Currently, 3,300 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19 in Quebec. There was an increase of 105 in overall hospitalizations in the past 24 hours.

3,018 people are being in non-ICU wards for COVID-19, an increase of 98 as compared to the previous day.

In Intensive Care Unit, a total of 282 people are being treated for COVID-19, an increase of 7 as compared to Saturday.

The Quebec Health on Saturday reported 6,705 new cases and 96 deaths due to COVID-19 over a 24 hour period.
