Canadiens defeat Lighting 3-2 in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals

The Montreal Canadiens defeated Tampa Bay Lighting 3-2 in the Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Monday night. (Photo – The Montreal Canadiends)

Played in Centre Bell, Montreal, the Canadiens led the first period 1-0 after Josh Anderson opened the score during the 15th minute of the period.

However, Barclay Goodrow of Lightning, leveled the score during the 17th minute of the second period.

Alexander Romanov hit the second goal for Canadiens during the 8th minute of the third period but Pat Maroon once again evened the score by hitting a goal during the 13th minute of the third period.

Josh Anderson scored another goal during the initial seconds of the Over Time to help the Canadians win the 4th Game 3-2.

The Canadiens will once again face the Lighting during the 5th game of the Stanley Cup Finals on Wednesday.
