4 suspects arrested, charged after double homicide in Toronto

The Toronto Police charged four suspects in connection with a double homicide which took place near two weeks ago.

“On Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 10:36 pm, police responded to a radio call for the sounds of gunshots in the Danforth Road and Thicketwood Drive area,” the Toronto Police said in a statement.

The statement further added that the officers located two men with life-threatening injuries after visiting the area following reports of multiple sounds of gun shots.

Both men, identified as Daniel Fung, 25, and Mohamed Moallim, 23, both from Toronto, were pronounced deceased at the scene, the statement added.

The Toronto Police also added that on Friday, June 25, 2021, a number of search warrants were executed in relation to the homicide investigation and as a result Karim Cadoo, 26, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with two counts of First Degree Murder.

Furthermore, the Toronto Police arrested Elvis Cadoo, 24, of Toronto, and charged him with two counts of First Degree Murder

Imron Samuel, 37, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with two counts of First Degree Murder and Felix Samuel, 50, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with Accessory after the fact to murder.

They are scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Saturday, June 26, 2021, courtroom 101, at 10 a.m, the Toronto Police said.
